Border ProtectionI’m for doing everything to secure our borders.If I find out we need to do more, I’m for that too.Security for Americans within our borders is a PRIMARY Constitutional function of the federal government. Just as printing money weakens the dollar, rewarding illegal immigrants cheapens the value of US Citizenship.
Beyond the obvious solutions to our Border Crisis like FINISHING THE FENCE, putting MORE AGENTS, equipped with BETTER TECHNOLOGY on the border, enforcing current immigration laws and making English the unifying language, we must remove the incentives that draw illegals here in the first place.
Children of guest workers must retain the nationality of the mother. The 14th amendment of 1868 is interpreted to allow babies born on AMERICAN SOIL AUTOMATIC CITIZENSHIP. This was not the intent of this Amendment. It mustbe changed or interpreted correctly.
With proper identification for citizens, we can stop providing public assistance, education, and health care to illegal immigrants. We must say NO. The finite resources available should be reserved for our posterity.
